Have you ever
been talking on the phone, or listening to a lecture and found
yourself drawing circles and shapes on your notepad? You're not
really thinking about what you're drawing, you're just moving
the pen around waiting on something else to write. Then you look
at what you've done and think, "That looks pretty cool."
Doodling.
Dictated by
the style I use to paint and often by the first random line I
draw, these are the images that come to mind.
These images
are mine. Drawn from what I've seen. They make me feel a certain
way. Remember a certain time.
A half circle
becomes a steering wheel for a little kid to play with.
A cloud-like
line at the top of the canvas becomes steam from a locomotive.
A curved line
cutting the canvas in-half bececomes a curtain blowing towards
a woman in the window.
There is no
story to link these images together. No theme or specific subject
matter.
They are fluid
thoughts build around a casual line and inspired by my life's
events.
Just images
that come to mind. |
